Mammoth is Opening?!
That's right, It's true. The mountain is open nearly an entire month before its anticipated date! I can hardly believe it. I'm just a tad bit excited. More so since I also found out that student passes are only $399 this year. Watch out Tahoe, Mammoth is getting competitive.
But of course, with a season opening, something special must happen. FREE LIFT TICKETS ALL DAY FRIDAY. Yes, I said it, Mammoth is in fact giving away free lift tickets. Very exciting for my friends who don't have passes. Hostel Ralph/Manning is going to be in full swing this evening, and we may even light a fire.
