Controled all social media outlets outperforming every other resort in relative growth on Facebook and Twitter. Reported the snow report in the morning,which included updating all reporting sites, recording with radio stations, and sending out email. Substitute photographer/videographer and edited photos and video for website and media outlets. Wrote creative copy for website and mailing lists, and proofread website. Acted as the liaison between Copper and all promotional websites for updating and keeping information current. Assisted with PR for events.

Worked retail at one of the most prestigious ski shops in the US. In this position I received numerous hours of instruction on many of the industry’s top brands and products. I used this information to assist customers in the most suitable purchases for their needs. This position also entailed administrative work handling demo, rental and repair paperwork.

Attended Ski/Snowboard Shows including SnoJam San Diego and Vegas and SkiDazzle as a representative for Mountain High, responsible for making sure that stores had all necessary P.O.P. and handled lift ticket inventory, primary contact for shops including Active, ValSurf, Zumiez, Chicks, and Sports Chalet in Los Angeles territory.

Taught faculty staff and students both Mac and PC software including Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Premier, and Final Cut. Assisted in advertising campaigns for several aspects of campus including the founding of the Digital Media Arts Minor in which I assisted with aspects of the website, advertising at club fairs, and speaking to classes about the minor and acting as an assistant to the professor for the minor's core classes.

Work closely with Patty Segovia of AGSJ in promoting via Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and skateboarding websites to create fanbase and brand recognition. Promote and work events such as AGSJ at Vans Warped tour working skate comps and promoting onsite. Maintain some aspects of website such as team and events.

Managed social media content including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Also updated content on website including the Mash Up and News Sections. Answered calls regarding support to the website. Attended events as a representative of Malakey.com.

Taught both Ski and Snowboard lessons in sync with PSIA/AASI standards including beginner classes for skiing and snowboarding and 2nd level for skiing, assisted in other mountain activities when needed including parking assistant as well as snow removal.

Assisted in promotions such as the Zumiez Couch Tour, Assisted customers with purchases, became lead cash rep at Mall of America handling up to $25,000 in transactions a day, sold and built both skate and snowboard packages, set up displays, attended quarterly training sessions and time spent working with the regional manager working on selling technique, speaking to customers, customer support, and product training.
